Competition Analysis
A trend in the organic products industry has boomed in recent years worldwide. Hongkong is no exemption meaning there's already a good number of established competitors in the market.

To start a good foundation, I met the team and we began researching what's already out there and asked ourselves. What categories of products do they have? How are they presented (in terms of layout)? What sections of the website did they do well? Which ones could they further improve? We've shared and merged our insights.

Layout Audit
Orghive Community has two main types of content. Articles and blogs. Articles are content created by curated professionals. Blogs, on the other hand, are created by the community.

The problem with the current version is that it's too static. I feel like community-based content should have variations between different categories to keep sparking interest. So I added some color contrast between sections. I also added more prominence to the images for the same reason.

UI Revamp
We wanted to have a stronger and more modern impression while still having a minimal vibe. We've done the following to create this impact:

- For Call-to-actions, we used the more saturated brand color instead of the original dark green.
- Re-arranged a blog/article anatomy into the following (Title, Image, Author name, publish date, like count). Since visitors are more likely interested in the content and its context, we should put that first.
- Added hierarchy to the content by having variations in its composition and formation. More popular topics will occupy more space, have their image display larger, will appear on top of the list etc.
- Emphasised contrast between text elements (e.g. increasing the font size difference between a title and a description).
